Food has always been my comfort and emotional support system. I have spent most of my life being overweight, and I struggled with yo-yo dieting, overeating, emotional eating, closet eating (not literally, lol), binge eating, and more. these extreme measures only added to my food addictions, gut issues, weight gain, and mental health issues, when I thought they should have been fixing these problems.
I realized that to navigate the complex and often dogmatic world of health, I needed to have more knowledge, and I needed to change more than just my eating habits.
Fast forward to today, and I am now a Certified Personal Trainer with a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition and a Metabolic Balance certification.
Here’s where things get interesting. I am not on the cover of a fitness magazine…yet (hey, never say never, right?). I’m in the trenches, working on my own health, nutrition and mindset, and I’d be thrilled to help you on your journey as well!
What started as a personal journey quickly became a relational one too; and it is now my mission and passion to change the lives of others through real-life, practical, and sensible support.

Forging a new path to health
The more I learn and progress down my own personal path to wellness, the more I want to help others like myself. The ones who struggle to reconcile what they’re told with how they feel, and who are driven to transform their lives, not just their bodies.
I want to lead by example, and use my education and research to bring the people in my community up along with me; physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s not a sprint – it’s a journey – but it’s a journey with continual rewards along the way.


What We Believe
You deserve to be happy and healthy
Many other fitness coaches haven’t experienced obesity, mobility issues, or underlying mental health challenges, let alone food addictions or intolerances. I understand, because I have been there. This is a safe place, no matter your size, ability, or preferences.
We often think that if we can just find some special food, diet, or force ourselves to eat less and exercise more, our problems will be solved. It’s just not that simple. Plus, as we change and age, so do our bodies’ needs – yep, you will always need to be working on your health!
